First of all, check out this video.... Student Poker Prodigy Earns Six Figures by Kristin Gianis (ABC News)

The ABC News video focuses on Steven Burkholder, a finance major from UF who pays his bills including tuition by playing online poker. He won the $750K guarantee on Full Tilt in September.

All is not well in the land of Full Tilt Poker. Clonie Gowen is suing the gang at Full Tilt which included the official members of Team Full Tilt; Howard Lederer, Andrew Bloch, Phillip Ivey, Christopher Ferguson, John Juanda, Phillip Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Jennifer Harman-Traniello, Michael Matusow, Allen Cunningham, Gus Hansen and Patrick Antonious.

Yikes. Clonie vs. Team Full Tilt. Read it here. Here's a bit...
In May 2007 all Full Tilt Poker team members received distribution payments apart from her; she demanded distribution owing but was refused. Six months later Howard Lederer offered to pay her $250,000 for her past performance but Gowen refused as she believed this was only a fraction of what is rightly owed to her as she estimates the company to be worth over $US4 billion. She continued to work and promote Full Tilt Poker until being informed that they were going to issue a press statement detailing that she was no longer part of the team.
More drama in the land of poker.

Editor's Note: The original story on PokerNetwork is no longer there. There was a link in the original post to the court documents which you can check out by clicking here.

Updates:

Pokerati has a snazzy non-hagged out photo of Clonie.

And a thread popped up on 2+2.

Awaiting snarky commentary from the hombres at Wicked Chops Poker.
